I LOVE SHIMI!
Shimi is amazing! She understands what I want, and REALLY works to keep it long for me- no problems with going too short and undoing all the growth I'm working on. Always makes it chic and glamorous- last time I stopped by work right after, and every MAN there gave me a compliment! Very friendly, too- my friend does my color, and when we asked her advice, she was willing to help. And, she remembers particulars about me from visit to visit- where I work, when I'm getting married, what I prefer for shape/ length/ bangs, etc. It took me a while to find a stylist and I'm SOOO glad I stumbled onto her. Worth every penny- don't be put off that it's an "italian" salon.

Worst Experience Ever!!!!!!
Do not trust these people with your hair!!!! I went in for single-process color to cover grey near my crown. The owner hovered over the inexperienced stylist and told her what to do. After she washed the color out, the grey was still there. Not only did she touch up my roots she also applied color to the side of my face and forehead. I was there for 3 hours and when I left, they charged me for doing two processes when it was clearly their fault, not mine. Not only are they clueless, they also charge for their incompetence. How do they stay in business????

I LOVE SHIMI!
Shimi is amazing! She understands what I want, and REALLY works to keep it long for me- no problems with going too short and undoing all the growth I'm working on. best service in the city
My first time at Carissima Salon i had excellent experience. Everyone that worked there was very welcoming and friendly. From the minute i walked in i felt comfortable. Ashley who is one of their many stylist cut my hair and did a great job. She did exactly what i wanted. I recommend you go there and experience the salon for yourself!!!

Great talent and excellent service!
Honestly, this is the best salon i've ever been too! I have never felt compeled to right a review about a business until now. Carissima offers a great atmosphere and a friendly, attentive and knowledgable staff. I'm so so extremely pleased! Finally a high end salon that delivers on its promises and without the pretentiousness...I am definitely going to be a regular here!
