Cool Heat Inc

My air condition stopped putting out cold air at the end of summer (07). Cool Heat replaced my compressor with a NEW one (so they say) they also replaced the drier, freon, and a few other things. Total cost to get air condition working was $691.

14 months later my air condition stopped putting out cold air. Again I took the car back to Cool Heat and again they told me I needed a new compressor, drier, plus a few other things. This time they wanted $670. I didn't have them do the work this time so the only money I lost this time was the $50.00 for the estimate, for them to tell me the compressor they installed 14 months ago wasn't any good.

I can't believe I need a new compressor every 14 months. I have no way of knowing if they installed a new or used compressor, I have to take their word for it, but I have my doubts.

I have been a very satisfied customer of Cool Heat for a long time but I will be looking for another shop in the future.

Pros : Can't think of any.

Cons : They charge $50.00 just to let you know what needs to be fixed or replaced.

Price Range : $500 - $750
