Yummy, yummy waffles I passed by this place many times a week for a couple of years thinking, "Why would I go stand in a parking lot for waffles?" I finally tried it and now I get it. I've never even been a huge waffle fan but these are absolutely wonderful. My favorite is the sweet cream and (raspberry) jam waffle. Some of the meat waffles make me miss my meat-eating days but there are plenty of vegetarian choices too. I think the next time I go back I'll try the Black Forest waffle with Nutella & raspberry jam. The only reason that I'm not giving it 5 stars is the really snotty chick who takes orders and makes it seem like every aspect of taking orders and then calling names when they're ready is really putting her out. Luckily, you get to walk away from her and savor the bliss that is their waffles. Read more at portland.citysearch.com
Flavour Spot is right! I love this. I went to the location on Mississippi. The guy running the show was super nice, friendly with my 1 year old son. We chit chatted as I tried to decide what to eat. I shared with my mom: the sausage and maple butter (THIS IS SO GOOD) and sweet cream and jelly (just like it sounds, soothing sweet goodness). Next time I'll probably have to have the sausage and maple butter again and the turkey, havarti and avocado (I think that's what was on it). Everyone should go here. Cheap and delicious. Coffee and waffles! Read more at portland.citysearch.com
Waffles! by adrienne s. at InsiderPages This place is amazing, waffle sandwiches, called the dutch taco, sweet or savory. My favorite is the MB9, Canadian bacon coupled with regular bacon wrapped up in a delicious waffle covered in a buttery maple syrup. It is super affordable. They now have another location located on the corner of Mississippi St. and Fremont. They also serve ice cream, and drip coffee. Read more at portland.citysearch.com
