No, this was not quite the cure for my raging hangover. First off, I cannot remember the last time I spent $40 on delivery! And this was for lasagna, garlic bread, and a large thin crust pizza. Am I still drunk or does that seem excessive?
Dan liked his lasagna but the rest was just okay. The garlic bread was good - sliced bread brushed with garlic and butter and topped with parm. But the parm wasn't really melted and baked on so when you dipped the bread in the marinara sauce it all crumbled off. And I'll be the first one to lament the obscenely large portion sizes in this country, but really this "large" thin crust pizza felt like the equivalent of 3 slices of regular pizza. The pepperoni was under the cheese which I find annoying (I like to pick mine off and eat it first. It's how I roll.) and the sauce was just too spicy for my already stressed stomach lining to handle.
The phone service was friendly, the order was correct, and the delivery was quick (minus the time it took the oldest delivery guy on the planet to make it up to our 3rd floor apartment - ten minutes if you're curious), but I won't order from here again.
