Gaming=Good, Integrity=Questionable by Steven M. at InsiderPages
Found this place for gaming, which it seems to be very strong with. Magic, Wizkids & kids gaming (yugi, etc...). They are tough to find as they don't have a SIGN or anything at this point. If you're at the toys r us at golf & milwaukee then they share a parking lot on the golf side. Well kept store, most everything looks nice and a very nice supply of magic packs, singles & the like. Comics (only keeps new issues, no back issues to speak of) are okay with a decent selection of graphic novels. No indies really, just top 100 books. Supplies and a handful of busts/statues. Gaming is good if you're a hardcore/serious gamer. However, the shop is very top heavy in it's payout. I was at a tourney for a magic draft (ravnica) with 24 people or so, and only 4 players won packs. Didn't care for that too much, so I won't be drafting there in the future (I finished 2-1-0 and got zilch, 5-2 overall in the best 2 of 3 for each match). Another problem was that the shop seemed like it could care less that i was there. No greeting, no asking me what i was looking for/interested in. It seemed like they had about 5 or 6 guys working there, so there really wasn't any excuse for that. In addition, when I did get to talk to people-they were pretty rude or busy playing video games. Probably the worst bit was when I had them look at some cards i was thinking of selling. I'm positive that they switched one of my cards for a lower grade version. I'm not big on confrontations, so i just left. Tip: If you're thinking of selling cards to them, never let the card leave your site-they seem very sketchy in this regard to me. Overall, it looks nice with a nice supply of current comics and very strong w/ccg's. Prices are pretty standard. However I just can't shake their demeanor or their questionable integrity. I'd rather take my business to a more grateful, attentive and deserving small business
