The place is always packed, so be patient. The food is excellent and the service is good. Their prices are also reasonable. The best bbq in the city.

We went to Smoque on my birthday, and really, really liked it.
My wife makes the BEST ribs, so we almost never order them in a restaurant.
But a friend recommended the place, and we gave it a whirl.
We loved the ribs and BBQ chicken and brisket (there were three of us and we shared).

Pros : Very good meat and the rub they use is very, very good. Moderate price and excellent value for the money
Cons : Limited seating. BYOB. Not high on the atmosphere scale, but it's clean, fun and a true Chicago joint.
